Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

AJ's second grade class got to go on a field trip to a pumpkin patch in Enumclaw. So, I volunteered to help with 22 second graders. Luckily, there were many other helpers as well. Happy Time Farm had a jumping castle, hay ride, corn maze, petting zoo and, of course, pumpkins! It was a beautiful, sunny day! I think the kids really enjoyed it!

A mound of dirt! Kids love a mound of dirt! And you could ride down it on a sled!!!

AJ gets an award!

AJ gets an award at school for responsibility...every month the school has a different character trait that they are working on. This month was responsibility. AJ and his friend Drew were 2 of the 4 honorees from his class. Way to go AJ! We are proud of you!

Family Celebration for Ally and AJ

After the sleepover party, our family (Steve's side) came to celebrate Ally and AJ' birthdays. We had Olive Garden for dinner and then cake and presents back at our house. We enjoyed time with Grandma Ann, Aunt Sue, Sarah, Sam and Steve's Uncle Bob and his wife Mary.

It's Ally's 10th Birthday!

This is all the girls that came to the party....Hannah, Ally, Esperanza, Ashlyn, Hannah, Grace, Natalie, Kendra, Jordan and Kaylee! What a great time...but do any of you remember how loud 10 girls can be?! It was a sleepover party with little emphasis on the "sleep". There was pizza, cake, Italian sodas; crafts and music and a movie....and a whole lot of chatter!

The Birthday Girl....too embarrassed to blow out the candles...but we finally convinced her!
Movie Time!!
Party Time!!!!

Luke having a facial!

Saturday morning this is how I found Luke! He either decided he needed a facial or he found a great muddy spot in which to dig a hole. I took the picture through the glass door because if I opened the door, I too, would have had a mud bath!

Luke's First Hunting Trip!

Luke got a new toy....a quacking duck! Look how cute he is carrying it around like he retrieved it! He is funny to watch play with it....he figured out how to squeeze it and knock it against the floor in order to get the duck to quack!

THE BIRTHDAY BOY!

It's AJ's 8th Birthday! It is hard to believe that our baby is 8! Time has gone so fast. We are so proud of him. He is a good boy and gets along well with all (well, maybe not his sister all the time). We did a small home celebration on Thursday night, which was his actual birthday, at home with our family. He opened a few presents from us and grandma and grandpa. We love you AJ!!

He's so EXCITED to get a new video game!! Mario Super Sluggers for the Wii!

Time for Cake!
Friday night we had a party for AJ and his friends as Odessy 1. It is a party place where the kids can play games and laser tag. Here are the boys enjoying AJ's "cake" which was actually a large chocolate chip cookie. It was a great evening of fun and celebration!!

Getting ready to play laser tag!
A smoke filled room and many places to hide is all you need to play laser tag....well and some fancy vests and guns! Oh, and it needs to be dark!

AJ, Connor and Dorian getting suited up!
Even the big boys got in on the action!
